Nutrition and Food

Enjoying a meal with friends and family is an important part of staying connected and maintaining health and wellbeing. McCormick Home provides residents with delicious, appetizing and nutritious meals that are prepared onsite by experienced, certified cooks. Menus are based on a four-week cycle and rotate regularly to reflect seasonal variety. Menus are carefully planned to provide meals that meet residents’ nutritional requirements and food preferences.

Regular and therapeutic menus are posted in each dining area in order for residents to anticipate upcoming meals and enhance appetite. Alternate menu choices, between-meal and before-bed snacks are always available to meet resident’s nutritional needs and appetites.

Family and friends are welcome to join residents for meals at a minimum fee. Families are informed by means of the home’s Profile Newsletter regarding special family dinners and events held on a regular basis.
