Community Collaborations

At McCormick Dementia Services, community collaborations are a key part of enhancing quality of life for those with dementia.  Here is a look at some of the community outreach activities we’ve undertaken this past year.

Community Collaborations

McCormick Care Group CEO Steve Crawford and McCormick Dementia Services staff members Tara Machacek and Kara Stirling greet visitors at the annual Geriatric Medicine Refresher Day conference hosted by St. Joseph’s Health Care.

The Art of Remembering

This past year, clients of the McCormick Dementia Services Day Program were invited to participate in a special art therapy project sponsored by the London Arts Council and the McCormick Care Foundation.  In addition to participating in visual arts activities, clients enjoyed working with professional artists in music and dance.
