POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Coordinator for the McCormick Care Group, based in London, Ontario. McCormick Care Group owns and operates McCormick Home, a long-term care home for seniors; McCormick Dementia Services, a program that serves individuals living with dementia and their families; and McCormick Dementia Research, our research division that is committed to learning and applying innovations in dementia care. It employs 100 full-time and 150 part-time employees.
Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing human resource leadership and hands-on operational support to divisional teams that enable the organization to attract, manage, develop and retain the best employees. This role will help McCormick Care Group achieve its goal of being a leader in dementia care with a focus on relationship-centred care and quality of work life.
With a desire to work in an environment that supports seniors, especially those living with dementia, applicants should have a university degree or college diploma in a related field. A CHRP/CHRL designation is preferred. With a minimum of three years of human resource management experience, applicants should demonstrate their experience with full-cycle recruiting, working in a unionized environment and WSIB claims management, and have an ability to support team members throughout the organization on human resource related matters. A current, clear police check with vulnerable sector clearance is required. The incumbent must adhere to the McCormick Care Group COVID-19 Immunization Policy.
The current salary range for the position is $34.00 to $37.50 per hour. This full-time position includes group benefits and membership in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan.
