An exciting opportunity exists for an Administrator at McCormick Home, a fully accredited, charitable home caring for 160 residents with a proud history of providing high quality care for seniors and others requiring long-term care in London. The McCormick Care Group, the governing organization of McCormick Home, is committed to leadership in dementia care in long-term and community-based care.

Reporting to the CEO, the Administrator will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home. This individual will use their senior management experience, enthusiasm and expertise to lead the home toward the fulfillment of its long-standing mission of serving the needs of those in long-term care and their families.

The Administrator will ensure the implementation of best practices and high quality standards in the delivery of the home’s long-term care services. In addition, the Administrator will ensure compliance with applicable legislation and maintain positive relationships with the home’s internal and external partners, including residents and their families, community and funding agencies, and the McCormick Care Foundation.

Applicants must possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in health or social services, five years of senior management experience in the health or social services sector, and have completed, or be enrolled, in a program in long-term care home administration or management. Preference will be given to those who have a familiarity with accreditation and compliance processes, and a genuine interest in caring for the elderly.
