ZOOM RECREATION
Clients and caregivers are encouraged to print the PDF calendar, then circle or highlight the programs they would like to attend. They may wish to post this calendar in a familiar place to help keep track of the Zoom programs they have registered for.
As a reminder, registration for these programs is required. Contact our Zoom recreation liaison to register for the specific programs of interest.
Who can attend Zoom recreation programs?
Zoom recreation programs are available to clients registered to attend our day program on-site, as well as clients on our waitlist. Clients must have access to a device (computer, laptop or tablet), plus an internet connection. A headset with microphones is strongly recommended.
What is the fee to attend?
There is no fee to access our virtual offerings – however, if you would like to donate, the McCormick Care Foundation would be happy to discuss options with you.
How do I register to attend?
If you are registered with us (attend on-site or are on our waitlist), please connect with our Zoom recreation liaison to discuss programs that are of interest to you. The Zoom liaison will add you to the program contact list so that you will receive the specific program invitation link prior to each scheduled session.
If you are not registered with our day program yet, a referral from the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN, formerly CCAC) is required. Once our day program receives your referral and you are accepted to our waitlist, our staff will reach out to determine your suitability to join Zoom recreation programs.
