McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update
Thursday April 1, 2021
This is a McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update for Thursday, April 1, 2021.
There are no probable or suspected cases of COVID-19 among our residents or staff at this time.
As the province and our local region continue to see alarming increases in the number of COVID-19 cases as well as an increase in the number of cases associated with COVID-19 variants, there is an anticipated announcement today that the province will be going into a four-week lockdown.
I want to reassure all of you that approved essential caregivers can continue to visit those in their care, regardless of the public health region level in place. Please be reminded that essential caregivers must be approved and that only one caregiver can visit at a time.
Enhanced diligence with public health measures both inside and outside the home are critical in the ongoing fight against COVID-19. As Easter weekend approaches, please adhere to public health measures so we can continue in our collective approach to keeping our residents and each other safe.
Have a wonderful Easter weekend and stay safe,
Tanya Pol,
Administrator
