McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update

This is a McCormick Care Group update for Friday, April 01, 2022.

We continue to see cases on the rise of COVID-19 both locally and provincially as health experts predict we are in the sixth wave of the pandemic.  The severity of this wave is unknown at this time.

As a result of increased COVID cases, McCormick Home will continue to require daily rapid testing for all individuals entering the home at this time.  We had hoped to reduce the testing as of April 4, 2022 but at this time, we are not comfortable in doing so.  The Home will re-evaluate the frequency of testing again in the week of April 18, 2022.

Please continue to remain diligent in following public health measures to protect our residents, staff and visitors.
