This is a McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update for Friday, April 17, 2020. We will continue to provide these updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday as needed.
There are no probable or suspected cases of COVID-19 among our residents or staff at this time.

The ministry has enhanced its screening guidelines for long-term care residents. Your loved one will now be swabbed if they show any signs of the following:
- Fever (temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or greater); OR
- Any new or worsening symptoms, such as cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, hoarse voice, difficulty swallowing, new olfactory or taste disorders, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain; OR
- Any clinical or radiological evidence of pneumonia.
