Eye Examinations

Natural Smiles Sight and Sound provides services that includes an optometrist who can conduct eye exams.  There is a fee of $99.00 above the OHIP covered rate and they require a minimum of 8 residents to host a clinic.  If you are interested in scheduling this service, please contact Krisa Smith, Assistant Director of Care at ksmith@mccormickcare.ca or by calling 519-432-2648 Ext. 2402.

Rapid Testing

Due to the high level of transmission in our community, the home will be continuing with daily rapid testing until further notice.

Updated Ministry Guidance

As the current ministry directives are set to expire on April 27, 2022 the ministry has advised the sector today, that a new directive will become effective on April 27, 2022 to align with the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021.  There will be no changes to current guidelines in place regarding screening, masking and testing as of April 27, 2022.  Updated guidance documents are anticipated shortly.  Updates will be provided as soon as these documents are released.
