Saturday, December 18, 2021
This is a McCormick Care Group COVID-19 Update for Saturday, December 18, 2021.
As communicated yesterday, we have unfortunately received an additional positive staff result. Based on the latest information, the requirements for isolation have shifted. The situation continues to evolve.
- Evergreen Walk – Provided there are no resident nor staff cases identified from the PCR testing completed Friday, the outbreak should be declared over on December 25, 2021.
- Memory Lane – Provided there are no additional staff nor resident cases identified from additional PCR testing, the outbreak should be declared over on December 27, 2021.
As a result of the new case, the dates of the second PCR test have been adjusted as follows:
- Evergreen Walk – Tuesday, December 21, 2021
- Memory Lane – Thursday, December 23, 2021
Memory Lane and Evergreen Walk remain in outbreak status. All residents in Evergreen Walk and Memory Lane will be isolated in their rooms. As a reminder, when in outbreak, residents are permitted to have one essential caregiver visit at a time. Essential caregivers are required to wear full droplet/contact precautions, which include a face mask, eye protection, a gown, and gloves upon entry into the home area.
We will continue to keep you advised of any changes. Thank you again for your cooperation and support.
