McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update

This is a third McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update for Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  We will continue to provide these updates twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, or as needed.

Further to our last update, we have been advised by the Middlesex-London Health Unit that, even though we have yet to receive the results of the second COVID-19 test being performed for the resident on Evergreen Walk, we must declare an outbreak at McCormick Home.

All residents in the home will be tested tomorrow, Wednesday, December 9, 2020.  All staff will be encouraged to complete our weekly testing tomorrow if at all possible.  All families who are visiting the home are advised that they will be required to wear full PPE as provided by the home (mask, gown, face shield and gloves) should they choose to visit any resident in Evergreen Walk.   

We continue to consult with the Middlesex-London Health Unit and will provide you with additional information once it becomes available.
