McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update
Friday February 12, 2021
This is a McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update for Friday, February 12, 2021.
There are no probable or suspected cases of COVID-19 among our residents or staff at this time.
Thank you to all who participated in the Family ZOOM meeting last night. If you were unable to attend, but would like a copy of the audio recording, please email me at tpol@mccormickcare.ca and I will send you the audio link.
The Middlesex-London Health Unit has requested each home submit a list of caregivers who would like to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. We have to provide this information to the health unit no later than 12:00 noon, Monday, February 15th, 2021. Only two caregivers per resident are eligible to receive the vaccine at this time. If you would like to receive the vaccine, and have not previously provided me with your consent, or an email indicating your interest, please email me by the end of day today. If you are not on the health unit’s list, they will not provide you with the vaccine.
Latex balloons
Just a reminder to families that we cannot allow latex balloons into our home. We have a number of staff and residents with severe allergies to latex. Mallard balloons (the shiny, metallic kind) are a safer alternative. Thank you for understanding.
Have a wonderful long weekend celebrating Family Day,
