All resident PCR swabs from Monday’s testing have been returned with the exception of one. No additional residents have tested positive. The home area will remain in precautionary isolation until the remaining test result is received.
Memory Lane
One resident tested positive after a rapid test; PCR results are pending. The health unit has advised the home to isolate the resident and monitor them closely. One additional resident is showing symptoms, which may be related to the administration of the fourth booster dose. The resident’s rapid test was negative.
Oak Avenue
There are five residents on Oak Avenue who are showing mild symptoms, but whose rapid test results were negative. Four of these residents received their fourth booster dose yesterday. All five residents have been isolated; the home will continue to monitor them closely under the guidance of the health unit.
A reminder that if you or anyone in your immediate household are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, please do not visit the home for 10 days after the start of your symptoms. If you are unsure of what to do, please do not hesitate to contact us for guidance.
