Memory Lane

I am very pleased to report that all of the resident results for the PCR testing completed on Friday morning for Memory Lane were negative.

Evergreen Walk

No new cases have been identified on Evergreen Walk over the weekend. If no new cases surface over the next few days, the next round of PCR testing will occur on January 19, 2022.

Caregivers – Volunteers

Our staff have been working very hard under extremely challenging conditions for the last several weeks. Many staff members have been working overtime to deliver our continuity of care. Please bear in mind that many of our staff have been affected by COVID-19 directly or indirectly through their own households and are doing their very best to provide the care our residents need. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these exceptional times.

With the recent variant, we are concerned about potential staff shortages. Many of you have asked if there is any way you can help support the home and our staff.   If you are comfortable, we would welcome any caregivers who would be willing to undergo training to volunteer with meal service/tray delivery, or making beds. Please let me know if you are interested.
