McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update

This is a McCormick Care Group update for Thursday, January 27, 2022.

The Ministry of Long-Term Care has extended the deadline for mandatory third doses for all staff, students, caregivers, support workers and volunteers.

The updated directive requires proof of having received a third dose by March 14, 2022, unless there is a valid medical exemption involved.

I am pleased to report that more than 90% of our staff have submitted proof of their third dose to date.

If you are not yet eligible to receive your third dose by this deadline due to the timing of your second, you must provide proof of your third dose within 30 days of becoming eligible.

As a reminder, the ministry is now requesting that all individuals entering McCormick Home show proof of vaccination with the enhanced vaccine certificate. Please visit https://covid19.ontariohealth.ca/ to obtain your copy.
