This is a McCormick Care Group update for Thursday, July 7, 2022.

Yesterday, Dr. Moore, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer, confirmed that Ontario has officially entered its seventh wave of COVID-19.  As such, I wanted to remind everyone to remain vigilant and follow the practices we have instituted at McCormick to keep everyone safe.  Please continue to screen in at the front entrance and proceed to daily testing.  Masks should continue to be worn while inside the home, and eating and drinking with residents continues to be limited to outdoor spaces.  Hand sanitizer should also be used when entering the home.

Our detailed visitor policy is available on our website or upon request from one of our screeners.

Just a reminder that we are holding a vaccination clinic on July 15, 2022, for any residents and essential caregivers who require their second, third or fourth doses. Currently, fourth doses are only available to those over 60 years of age.
