Updated Policies and COVID-19 Family Visitor Guidelines and Education Requirements

As a result of recent ministry changes, the applicable policies have been updated and have been posted to the McCormick Home website for your review.

Approved essential caregivers are required to review the COVID-19 Family Visitor Guidelines and Education Requirements. Upon their next visit to the home, essential caregivers will be asked to sign off their acknowledgement that they have reviewed and understood the updates as per ministry requirements. The guidelines will be attached to the e-mail version of this message, or hard copies can be obtained from the screener for review.

Outdoor Visitor Reminders

Outdoor visitors are no longer required to undergo a rapid test before their visit; however, all outdoor visitors must be actively screened and wear a face covering for the duration of their stay.

Diligence

We continue to see cases of COVID-19 locally as restrictions ease provincially.  Please continue to remain diligent in following public health measures to protect our residents, staff and visitors.
