McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update
Thursday March 25, 2021
This is a McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update for Thursday, March 25, 2021.
There are no probable or suspected cases of COVID-19 among our residents or staff at this time.
A reminder to families that with the changes to the Rapid Antigen Testing Directive on March 15, 2021, family members are required to be tested every other day, to a maximum of three times per week. As previously communicated, our “week” is Monday to Sunday, and the new week will reset on Mondays, regardless of when you were last tested. This framework is intended to ease the process for tracking purposes and statistic submission to the ministry. Please note that if you are visiting on a Monday, you will be asked to be tested as the new cycle resets.
Please be reminded that as long as the London-Middlesex area is a designated public health region of orange, red or grey, residents are not permitted to leave the property unless for medical reasons. Families are welcome to take the residents to the front parking lot or out to the gardens, but no other visitors are permitted. Caregivers must always wear a mask and, if tolerated, residents are to be masked as well.
Thank you for your ongoing understanding.
Have a wonderful weekend!
