This is a McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update for Thursday, November 5, 2020.  We will continue to provide these updates twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, or as needed.

There are no probable or suspected cases of COVID-19 among our residents or staff at this time.

A reminder to approved caregivers coming into the home:  You are required to sign in and out using the designated yellow caregiver sheets located at the nursing station when you enter the resident home area.  As previously communicated, this record would be required in the event of an emergency or in the event we have to assist public health with contact tracing in the event of a possible outbreak.

There is one designated influenza vaccination clinic remaining for approved caregivers coming into the home this week.  You are welcome to obtain your vaccination in the Family Serenity Room if you have not already done so.  The date of the clinic is Friday, November 6, 2020, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. 

Please note, I will be off on a vacation day on Monday, November 9, 2020.  Alternatively, the family update will be sent Tuesday, November 10, 2020, unless an emergent issue arises.
