McCormick Care Group – COVID-19 Update

This is a McCormick Care Group update for Monday, September 19, 2022.

Health Canada has prioritized the Moderna/Spikevax COVID-19 bivalent vaccine for long-term care home residents, caregivers and staff.

We are planning to vaccinate residents on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. We have been advised by public health that updated consents are required for all residents. Please contact Angela Murray or Loralee VanBeest to provide your consent by Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

Just a reminder that we will also be holding a vaccine clinic for all caregivers, families and staff on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are eligible to receive the vaccine and want to take advantage of this opportunity to receive the booster at the home, please advise Angela or Loralee by Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
