McCormick Home and the Fixing Long-Term Care Homes Act 2021
At McCormick Home, our goal is to ensure we meet every ministry guideline and directive for the safe delivery of quality, effective care to our residents. The Fixing Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2021 provides an important roadmap to renewing and refocusing all long-term care services across Ontario, particularly as we work together to recover from the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This page outlines the steps we are taking to meet the first set of requirements of the Act by the deadline of July 11, 2022. While much of this information is already found elsewhere on our website, we restate it here to ensure compliance with the requirements established by Ontario’s Ministry of Long-Term Care.
