Using tablet technology to enhance conversations between people with dementia and their family caregivers

Background

This study determines if viewing and discussing family photos on a tablet increases the use of person-centred communication.

Findings

The six-week study is now complete and results were significant, with all participants increasing their use of person-centred communication.
